The Quran, revealed over 1400 years ago, contains numerous verses that align with modern scientific discoveries — long before science ever confirmed them. One striking example is human embryonic development. The Quran says, “We created man from a drop of mingled fluid...” (76:2), describing the early stages of an embryo in a way that modern embryology now confirms. Another example is the structure of mountains. In Surah An-Naba (78:6-7), it says, “And the mountains as pegs?” Geologists have discovered that mountains do, in fact, have deep roots underground, acting like pegs that stabilize the Earth’s crust. Perhaps most astonishing is the Quran’s mention of the expanding universe: “We built the heaven with might, and We are expanding it.” (51:47). This matches modern astronomy, which only discovered the expanding universe in the 20th century. These aren’t vague metaphors — they’re precise truths. Could this really be coincidence? Or is it clear proof that the Quran is truly the word of the Creator?
